Brielle is a child of the world and a lover of life. She studied interior design and art history at the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University in Boston and Renaissance art and architecture in Florence, Italy. After completing her degree, she worked for many years as the principal designer at Judy Gordon Interior Design, LTD, a design firm located in Chicago. At the age of 26, Brielle took a hiatus from the firm and embarked on a backpacking journey alone that would change the course of her life forever. It was during this journey that she decided to follow her heart and move to Tel Aviv.
Brielle has been practicing yoga since 2004 and has studied with international masters to expand her knowledge of the yogic, Eastern and indigenous traditions. Her foundation began in Chicago where she practiced with teachers Gina Saka and Chris DeLizer for 6 years, being deeply influenced by Chris’s bhakti (devotion) and her ability to incorporate bhakti into the physical yoga practice and by Gina’s ability to create an experience in every class that allowed her students to deepen their awareness and connection to their body.
Since 2008, Brielle has been studying with Billie Topa Tate, internationally recognized Native American Mescalero Apache Healer. Billie mentored Brielle in native wisdom, ancestral principles, meditation, holistic healing and karmic solutions for the individual, community and the environment.
In 2012, Brielle studied studied with Dr. Chinmay Pandaya, Pro Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya University located in Haridwar, India. Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya University (D.S.V.V.) is an unconventional learning institute and nationally recognized university of higher learning, education and research. Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya was the vision of the late guru and scholar Pt Shriram Sharma Acharya.
In 2016, after 10+ years of yoga practice, the next step to deepening her understanding of yoga was to train and become a certified teacher with Embodied Flow founders and world-renowned yoga teacher Tara Judelle and Scott Lyons. Now a ERYT 350+ certified yoga teacher, Brielle continues to deepen her knowledge by continually training in the Embodied Flow Method. In addition, Brielle is currently training in Pre-Natal, Post-Natal and Hypnobirthing with Michelle Leclaire O’Neill PhD, R.N. as she is passionate about the power of motherhood and empowering women during their journey.
It is Brielle’s thirst for knowledge and her deep curiosity that drives her to continually deepen education which she offers up to her students.
